This study investigates the relationship between corporate ESG (Environmental, Social, and Governance) behaviors and employee satisfaction, using panel data from listed companies on the Shanghai and Shenzhen stock exchanges. The research employs regression analysis and draws on data from the "China's 100 Best Employers Award" to explore how ESG behaviors influence employee satisfaction. The study finds that corporate ESG behaviors significantly enhance employee satisfaction, with transparency in environmental information and internal control mechanisms playing crucial mediating roles. Additionally, executive environmental awareness and higher employee educational qualifications strengthen the positive impact of ESG behaviors on employee satisfaction. The findings provide valuable insights for policymakers, industry organizations, and companies aiming to improve employee satisfaction through ESG practices. The study contributes to the literature by examining the relationship between ESG and employee satisfaction, identifying the mediating and moderating factors, and offering practical implications for enhancing employee satisfaction in the context of sustainable corporate governance. This study investigates the relationship between corporate ESG (Environmental, Social, and Governance) behaviors and employee satisfaction, using panel data from listed companies on the Shanghai and Shenzhen stock exchanges.
