This study explores the objectives, functionalities, and outcomes of a smartphone-based care management platform, myMobility®, designed to provide personalized surgical experiences to patients undergoing robotic total knee arthroplasty (rTKA). The survey-based analysis was conducted on patients who used the platform and underwent primary rTKA between January 2021 and February 2023. The mean age of registered patients was 68.6 years, with a male-to-female ratio of 45.1% to 54.9%. The survey highlighted positive perceptions of the app's features, such as education and routine, but also identified limitations and areas for improvement. The results were evaluated using Wald principles, and strategies were proposed to enhance patient recruitment, adherence, and create a comprehensive patient journey. The study concludes that myMobility® has the potential to improve surgical experiences by increasing patient engagement, facilitating remote monitoring, and providing personalized care. However, there is a need to integrate the recruiting process, improve adherence strategies, and create a comprehensive patient journey within the platform. This study explores the objectives, functionalities, and outcomes of a smartphone-based care management platform, myMobility®, designed to provide personalized surgical experiences to patients undergoing robotic total knee arthroplasty (rTKA).
