This study aimed to analyze the main perceptions of health professionals from a basic health unit (UBS) in Três Rios/RJ regarding the topic of Quality of Life at Work (QWL). An exploratory qualitative research was conducted through semi-structured interviews with 15 employees. The analysis revealed that the main perceptions of having quality of life at work are associated with job satisfaction, involving elements such as well-being and pleasure. In the employees' work routine, beneficial factors such as good interpersonal relationships prevail, however, there is a prevalence of harmful aspects such as inadequate infrastructure and lack of materials. The research highlights the importance of considering both positive and negative aspects of the work environment to improve the quality of life of health professionals. The findings indicate that while good relationships and a sense of belonging are important, the lack of adequate infrastructure and materials significantly impact the well-being of the workers. The study also emphasizes the need for improvements in the physical conditions of the workplace and the provision of necessary resources to enhance the quality of life at work. The research underscores the complex nature of quality of life at work, which is influenced by various factors, including organizational, environmental, and behavioral aspects. The study concludes that improving the work environment and addressing the challenges faced by health professionals is essential for enhancing their quality of life. This study aimed to analyze the main perceptions of health professionals from a basic health unit (UBS) in Três Rios/RJ regarding the topic of Quality of Life at Work (QWL).
