This study investigates the relationship between soft skills and the labor market insertion of students in the final cycles of administration at a university in northern Lima, Peru, in 2023. The research is of a basic type, using a descriptive correlational scope with a non-experimental cross-sectional design, employing a hypothetical deductive method and a quantitative approach. A questionnaire with 30 questions was used to collect data from a total population of 119 students, with a random sample of 94 students. The results, based on the Spearman's rho correlation coefficient, show a significant high positive correlation (Rho = 0.703, p = 0.01) between soft skills and job placement. The study concludes that soft skills are significantly related to labor market insertion, emphasizing their importance in the process and their consideration by companies seeking new collaborators capable of resolving conflicts and enhancing productivity within an organization. The findings also highlight the significance of interpersonal, cognitive, and emotional intelligence skills in the context of job placement. This study investigates the relationship between soft skills and the labor market insertion of students in the final cycles of administration at a university in northern Lima, Peru, in 2023.
