Teaching at The Right Level (TaRL) is an implementation of new educational concepts in the insights of Ki Hajar Dewantara. This study explores the alignment between TaRL and Dewantara's educational philosophy, emphasizing the importance of individualized learning to achieve optimal well-being and happiness for students. Dewantara believed education should guide individuals toward optimal development, not solely based on the teacher's will or authority. The government is currently developing a new educational paradigm that allows educators to adapt teaching methods, including TaRL. The study uses a literature review to assess the resonance between the new educational paradigm and its practical implementation. Findings show a harmonious alignment between Dewantara's philosophical teachings and the application of TaRL in modern secondary education. Integrating TaRL into the educational environment is a real step toward realizing Dewantara's vision of an inclusive and progressive educational landscape. TaRL focuses on teaching students at their appropriate level, considering their individual abilities and cognitive development. It involves initial assessment, grouping based on ability, tailored instruction, and regular evaluation. Research shows that TaRL effectively improves student learning outcomes. It has been adopted in various countries, including Kenya, Zambia, and Nigeria, with positive results. TaRL also emphasizes the importance of inclusivity and fairness in education. However, implementing TaRL faces challenges such as curriculum development, assessment systems, and the need for trained educators. A coordinated effort from all stakeholders is needed to integrate TaRL into the education system. The study concludes that TaRL aligns with Dewantara's educational philosophy and can enhance learning outcomes by addressing individual student needs. Future research should explore the integration of TaRL with Dewantara's educational insights to improve student learning and character development in Indonesia.Teaching at The Right Level (TaRL) is an implementation of new educational concepts in the insights of Ki Hajar Dewantara.
