The article "APC/C and SCF cyclin F Constitute a Reciprocal Feedback Circuit Controlling S-Phase Entry" was published in Cell Reports on March 26, 2024. The authors are Rajarshi Choudhury, Thomas Bonacci, Anthony Arceci, Debojyoti Lahiri, Christine A. Mills, Jennifer L. Kernan, Timothy B. Branigan, James A. DeCaprio, Daniel J. Burke, and Michael J. Emanuele. The study investigates the reciprocal feedback circuit between the Anaphase Promoting Complex/Cyclosome (APC/C) and the Skp1-Cullin1-F-box (SCF) cyclin F complex in controlling entry into the S phase of the cell cycle.
In the original publication on September 20, 2016, Figure 1A had an error where some blot strips showed an incomplete set of samples. Specifically, some proteins like Cdh1 and Ran showed 14 samples, while others like Cyclin F showed 15. The authors have corrected this error by providing a revised Figure 1A that includes all 16 samples originally run, with the last time point being 32 hours after synchronization and release. The updated figure includes all 16 samples for all proteins to correct the record. However, due to the age of the paper, the publishers are unable to update the paper online. The authors apologize for the error. The corrected figure shows that Cdh1 regulates the abundance and stability of Cyclin F.The article "APC/C and SCF cyclin F Constitute a Reciprocal Feedback Circuit Controlling S-Phase Entry" was published in Cell Reports on March 26, 2024.
