The article presents a matrix of artificial intelligence (AI) tools used in the linguistic and teaching methods training of future foreign language teachers. It highlights the potential of AI tools in enhancing language learning and teaching, focusing on six types of feedback from generative AI: educational and social, informational and reference, methodological, analytical, evaluative, and conditionally creative. The study identifies key AI tools for each type of feedback, such as Replika, LingvoBot, ChatGPT, YandexGPT, GigaChat, Grammarly, PaperRater, and others. The research emphasizes the importance of integrating AI tools into the training of future language teachers to improve their pedagogical skills and adapt to the evolving educational landscape. The study also discusses the potential of AI in personalized learning, language skill development, and the creation of an integrated system of language teaching methods. The findings suggest that AI tools can significantly enhance the quality of language education by providing diverse forms of feedback and support, while also highlighting the need for careful use to avoid issues such as plagiarism and misinformation. The study concludes that further research should focus on developing teaching methods based on AI tools for language aspects, speech activities, and specialized disciplines. The matrix of AI tools provides a comprehensive framework for the use of AI in the training of future language teachers, ensuring a systematic and effective approach to language education. The article presents a matrix of artificial intelligence (AI) tools used in the linguistic and teaching methods training of future foreign language teachers.
