This paper reviews the acculturation experiences of international students, focusing on the challenges they face and the impact of these experiences on their psychological and sociocultural adaptation. The authors discuss various acculturation models and explore the stressors that international students commonly encounter, such as language barriers, educational difficulties, loneliness, discrimination, and practical problems.
