This study explores the environmental and economic impacts of organic farming practices, focusing on soil health and the safety and nutritional benefits of organic food products. Organic farming, which excludes synthetic fertilizers and chemical pesticides, enhances soil health by fostering a robust microbiome, which is crucial for nutrient cycling and soil vitality. Natural fertilizers such as farmyard manure, poultry litter, composts, green manures, and oil-free cakes are used to improve soil fertility. The research shows that these practices significantly enhance soil health and reduce chemical residues in food, making organic produce safer and more nutritious. Additionally, organic farming can improve the economic viability of small-scale farmers by command higher prices for their produce due to increasing consumer demand. The study concludes that organic farming is an environmentally friendly and economically viable alternative to conventional agriculture, promoting sustainable agricultural practices. This study explores the environmental and economic impacts of organic farming practices, focusing on soil health and the safety and nutritional benefits of organic food products.
