Augmented reality (AR) is increasingly applied in the automotive industry to enhance various processes such as logistics design, assembly, maintenance, inspection, and training. It provides an interactive and intuitive interface that can deliver the right information to the right person at the right time, improving work performance, productivity, and efficiency. AR is used in conjunction with portable devices and has the potential to reduce errors and improve decision-making through real-time data visualization. It also supports visual imagination during the design process and can reduce errors and planning time in factory planning. AR is also used in quality control processes to keep workers focused on the task and reduce errors, thereby improving the quality of production. In addition, AR is used in marketing to allow customers to interactively adjust their carts before placing orders. The technology is also used in driver training to ensure a high level of knowledge of traffic laws, contributing to accident prevention. AR can also be used in remote support scenarios, allowing local operators to communicate with remote experts to solve problems. However, the acceptance of AR in the automotive industry is still growing, and its real benefits in industrial contexts are not yet clearly demonstrated. The application of AR in the automotive industry is still limited by factors such as the need for trained personnel and the performance-to-cost ratio of available technologies. Despite these challenges, AR has the potential to significantly improve the efficiency and effectiveness of various processes in the automotive industry.Augmented reality (AR) is increasingly applied in the automotive industry to enhance various processes such as logistics design, assembly, maintenance, inspection, and training.
