Blockchain technology is transforming data integrity and security in digital environments. This study evaluates the performance of prominent blockchain networks—Bitcoin, Ethereum, and Hyperledger Fabric—in terms of data integrity and security. The analysis reveals that Bitcoin and Hyperledger Fabric exhibit high immutability and reliability, while Ethereum shows moderate performance. Security assessments highlight the cryptographic strength and resistance to unauthorized access, with Hyperledger Fabric and Bitcoin demonstrating outstanding security features. Ethereum, though robust, has moderate security levels. The study emphasizes the importance of selecting a blockchain platform aligned with specific use cases, as different networks offer varying degrees of data integrity and security. Hyperledger Fabric and Bitcoin are strong contenders for applications requiring high integrity and robust security, while Ethereum provides a reliable but moderate alternative. The research underscores the multifaceted nature of blockchain technology and its potential to revolutionize data management. As blockchain continues to evolve, this study provides insights for practitioners and researchers to strategically select platforms that best meet their needs. The findings contribute to a deeper understanding of blockchain's transformative potential in ensuring data integrity and security across diverse digital environments.Blockchain technology is transforming data integrity and security in digital environments.
