ChatGPT, a generative AI model, has gained attention for its ability to engage in human-like conversations, enhancing student engagement, accessibility, and interactive learning. It offers tools for generating quizzes, summaries, translations, and personalized learning experiences, supporting both educators and students. However, concerns about the accuracy, bias, and reliability of AI-generated content, as well as the risk of plagiarism and ethical issues, are significant challenges. The review highlights the need for balanced integration of ChatGPT, emphasizing the importance of academic integrity, ethical considerations, and the prevention of over-reliance on AI. Recommendations include training educators on the proper use of ChatGPT, establishing ethical guidelines, and promoting critical thinking skills in students.
