The results highlight the prevalence of experiential learning, STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts, and Mathematics), and interdisciplinary approaches as key educational methodologies for fostering creative thinking. Techniques such as interdisciplinary projects, artistic practices, nature-based activities, and digital tools were identified. Core skills include originality, fluency, flexibility, and elaboration. Most studies were conducted in higher education institutions, emphasizing the need for research in regions like Latin America to advance educational practices. The study underscores the importance of fostering creativity from an early age and contributes to more effective pedagogical practices that positively impact education and prepare individuals for the challenges of the 21st century. This study aims to identify and analyze relevant characteristics associated with creative thinking, particularly in arts and design education.
