This study conducted a bibliometric analysis of research on cyberbullying and mental health to evaluate the academic performance of the literature and propose future research directions. The analysis was based on data extracted from the SCOPUS database, using spreadsheets and VOSviewer to analyze publications, citations, and keywords. The study identified the top countries, journals, and authors contributing to the field, as well as emerging trends and topics. The results showed that cyberbullying remains a significant area of research, with a growing number of publications and citations over the past decade. The top 10 most active journals in the field include the International Journal of Environmental Research and Public Health, the Journal of Adolescents Health, and the Children and Youth Services Review. The most cited publications include studies on the relationship between cyberbullying and mental health, as well as the impact of cyberbullying on adolescents. The analysis also revealed that cyberbullying is a global issue, with the United States, United Kingdom, and China being the leading countries in research. The study identified several emerging topics, including social anxiety, racism, and the impact of the COVID-19 pandemic on cyberbullying. The findings suggest that future research should focus on the long-term effects of cyberbullying on mental health, the role of social media in cyberbullying, and the development of effective interventions to prevent cyberbullying and its negative effects on mental health. The study also highlights the importance of interdisciplinary research in understanding the complex relationship between cyberbullying and mental health. This study conducted a bibliometric analysis of research on cyberbullying and mental health to evaluate the academic performance of the literature and propose future research directions.
