Formation of transport-logistic clusters in Ukraine

May 28-29, 2019, Ternopil, Ukraine | Svitlana Sharai, Maksym Roi, Daryna Dekhtiarenko
The article discusses the formation of transport-logistic clusters (TLCs) in Ukraine, emphasizing their importance for the country's economic development. It highlights the role of transport in the economy and the need for efficient transport infrastructure. The geographic position of Ukraine makes it a promising transit state, and the country has a strong potential for developing TLCs. The article reviews the experiences of other countries in establishing TLCs and identifies the benefits of different cluster strategies. It also analyzes the current state of the transport industry in Ukraine, including freight volumes, transport modes, and the dynamics of freight flows. The Italian, American, German, and British models of clustering are discussed, with the Italian model being closest to Ukraine's context. The article concludes that the formation of TLCs is an innovative and promising direction for improving the efficiency of the transport industry in Ukraine, and it suggests that the Italian model is the most suitable for Ukraine. The development of theoretical foundations for TLCs is identified as a key area for further research. The article discusses the formation of transport-logistic clusters (TLCs) in Ukraine, emphasizing their importance for the country's economic development.
