This study explores the effectiveness of Artificial Intelligence of Things (AIoT) Professional Development Training in enhancing teachers' AI competencies. The rapid integration of IoT and AI technologies has increased the demand for AI-literate educators. However, teachers often lack the necessary AI knowledge, which hinders effective AI education. To address this, the researchers proposed an AIoT-PD training program, which included hands-on activities using microcontrollers and fuzzy logic to simulate human reasoning and cognition. The study involved 13 teachers from vocational colleges in Thailand, who participated in a two-day training workshop. The results showed a significant improvement in teachers' AI knowledge, skills, and attitudes after the training. Quantitative data from pre- and post-tests, as well as qualitative data from interviews, confirmed the effectiveness of the training. Teachers reported increased confidence and readiness to apply AI in their classrooms. The study highlights the importance of professional development in preparing teachers for the emerging field of AI education. However, the study's limitations include its focus on a single college, which may not represent broader educational contexts in Thailand. This study explores the effectiveness of Artificial Intelligence of Things (AIoT) Professional Development Training in enhancing teachers' AI competencies.
