This review article explores the effectiveness of Project-Based Learning (PBL) in enhancing creative thinking skills in students. It examines how PBL aligns with psychological principles and cognitive processes to foster creativity. The study analyzes PBL's psychological and educational merits, project design, student engagement, cognitive development, and the integration of intellectual and affective factors. Findings indicate that PBL is adaptable to cognitive rhythms, enhances information intake and motivation, and improves cognitive engagement and dynamic thinking. PBL's versatility supports personalized education and innovation. The study also addresses challenges in PBL implementation and suggests future research directions. PBL is positioned as a powerful tool for nurturing student creativity, adaptable to various learning preferences and styles. The article outlines four stages of PBL: setting the project theme, autonomous theme building, outcome optimization, and comprehensive summary and assessment.
