Artificial intelligence (AI) has raised significant ethical concerns, particularly regarding its potential risks and consequences if ethical principles are not critically examined. This study explores the ethical dilemmas posed by AI from a transhumanist perspective, highlighting the differences between humans, transhumans, and AI. The research used documentary and hermeneutic methods, complemented by responses from ChatGPT 3.5 in Spanish. It was found that AI, as a programmed and automated system, lacks autonomy, consciousness, and moral agency, which are essential for human identity. The study emphasizes that not all technoscientific advancements are ethically acceptable, and AI cannot be equated with human beings who possess self-awareness, self-determination, and a sense of uniqueness. Ethical and spiritual-transcendent dilemmas arise when AI is used in ways that threaten human dignity and autonomy. The study also discusses the ethical implications of AI, including biases in decision-making, the need for regulation, and the importance of transparency. It concludes that AI should be used responsibly, with a focus on human values and ethical considerations. The study highlights the need for a holistic approach to AI development, incorporating cultural, political, historical, philosophical, and moral dimensions, with education playing a central role. The research underscores the importance of maintaining human dignity and ethical principles in the development and application of AI.Artificial intelligence (AI) has raised significant ethical concerns, particularly regarding its potential risks and consequences if ethical principles are not critically examined.
