This document presents a user experience (UX) design proposal for the website of the Multimedia Engineering program at the Military University of New Granada. The objective is to create a user-centered website that provides an intuitive, functional, and easy-to-use interface for students, faculty, and visitors. The proposal includes a detailed analysis of the target audience, which consists of young individuals aged 16-25 who are familiar with technology, have strong computer skills, and are interested in graphic communication. The study also evaluates the current usability of the university's website, which ranks 4751 globally, indicating areas for improvement. The methodology employed is Design Thinking, a process that involves five stages: Empathize, Define, Ideate, Prototype, and Test. The study includes a survey to gather user feedback and a benchmarking process to analyze the websites of similar institutions. The research also explores the evolution of web design, from Web 1.0 to Web 4.0, and the principles of usability, information architecture, and user experience. The design proposal includes wireframes and mockups to visualize the website structure and functionality. The website architecture is divided into six main categories: Career, Students, Faculty, Research, Events, and Portfolio. The design emphasizes a minimalist approach, using colors and typography that reflect the university's identity and enhance user navigation. The study concludes that the website should include a section for upcoming events, a list of faculty members, a static top navigation bar, and a design that complements the university's identity. The final design aims to provide a seamless user experience that encourages engagement and promotes the university's mission and values. This document presents a user experience (UX) design proposal for the website of the Multimedia Engineering program at the Military University of New Granada.
