Factores influyentes para el uso de herramientas digitales en estudiantes universitarios

The study investigates the importance of digital tools in the training of university students, focusing on factors influencing their use. Using Grounded Theory as a qualitative methodology, the research involved a literature review and a survey of 45 university students. The survey covered access to technology, technological skills, institutional support, motivation, and attitudes toward using digital tools. Regression analysis identified significant influences, including technological access, skills, institutional support, motivation, and positive attitudes. The study concludes that universities need to acquire new competencies by applying technologies like artificial intelligence (AI) in professional preparation. Key findings highlight the need for equitable access to technology, fostering a positive attitude towards technology, and providing adequate institutional support to enhance the effective use of digital tools in education.
