The article introduces the upgraded version of the Gene Structure Display Server (GSDS 2.0), which has been widely used by over 60,000 users since its first publication in 2007. GSDS 2.0 features a newly designed interface, supports more types of annotation features and formats (including BED, GTF, and GFF3), and includes an integrated visual editor for customizing the size, shape, and color of annotation features. Additionally, users can add a user-specified phylogenetic tree to facilitate evolutionary analysis. The generated figures can be exported in various formats (SVG, PDF, and PNG). The full source code is available for download, and the web server is freely accessible at http://gsds.cbi.pku.edu.cn. The authors acknowledge user feedback and developers of the SVG-edit tool for their contributions. The article introduces the upgraded version of the Gene Structure Display Server (GSDS 2.0), which has been widely used by over 60,000 users since its first publication in 2007.
