This paper examines how information management capability influences firm performance. The authors analyze data from 160 firms to assess the relationship between organizational information management capabilities and firm performance. They use a variety of statistical models, including random effects models and seemingly unrelated regression (SURE) models, to estimate the impact of information management capabilities on firm performance. The results show that information management capability has a significant positive effect on firm performance. The study also finds that firm performance is influenced by factors such as service provision, firm size, and human resource management capability. The authors also compare their findings with existing literature on information technology capability and firm performance, and find that their study provides new insights into the relationship between information management capability and firm performance.
