This study explores the implementation of religious moderation in Islamic education in schools, aiming to understand how religious moderation is practiced, its objectives, the role of teachers, and the evaluation and monitoring of its implementation. The research employs a qualitative approach, analyzing library-based data using descriptive qualitative methods to explain the facts of religious moderation implementation in Islamic education. The findings indicate that religious moderation in schools can foster religious tolerance through school programs and activities. Teachers play a vital role in promoting moderation by considering differences, encouraging critical thinking, and evaluating student understanding. The implementation of religious moderation in Islamic education is crucial for developing critical thinking, tolerance, and the integration of moderate religious values in the curriculum. Strategies include incorporating moderation content into the curriculum, developing critical thinking skills, and evaluating student understanding. School activities and extracurricular programs also contribute to fostering religious moderation. The study emphasizes the importance of teacher professionalism, the role of religious education in promoting tolerance, and the need for a balanced approach to religious values.
