Implementasi Sistem Penjaminan Mutu Internal (SPMI) Dalam Meningkatkan Mutu Layanan Pendidikan

This study explores the implementation of the Internal Quality Assurance System (SPMI) at SMP Lab School FIP UMJ Cirendeu Ciputat Tangerang Banten to improve the quality of education services. The research aims to analyze how SPMI implementation enhances educational service quality. Data was collected through observation, interviews, and documentation, then analyzed to draw conclusions. The results show that SPMI implementation has positively impacted educational service quality by improving the learning process, school management, and learning outcomes. Key findings include: 1) quality mapping instruments not fully aligned with the 8 National Education Standards (SNP), 2) suboptimal quality fulfillment targets, 3) fulfillment of 8 SNP targets, 4) improved learning process and school management, 5) improved learning outcomes, and 6) the establishment of a quality culture. The implementation of SPMI has led to increased student performance, continuous national achievements, and improved school management. The study concludes that SPMI implementation has effectively enhanced educational service quality by fostering a quality culture and continuous improvement.
