This study investigates the impact of Internet of Things (IoT) implementation on resource management in the construction sector. The research aims to identify key factors promoting optimal IoT integration and explore how IoT influences resource management. Using structural equation modelling (SEM), the study examines the relationships between variables and their underlying constructs. The findings reveal a significant positive correlation between IoT adoption and effective resource management, highlighting the importance of data analytics, data security, integration, scalability, and flexibility. The study contributes to addressing gaps in the literature by providing insights into how IoT can enhance human, mechanical, and material resource management in construction projects. The research also emphasizes the need for customized strategies to optimize IoT applications in resource management, given the varying degrees of influence of different elements. The results have practical implications for industry professionals, policymakers, and stakeholders, encouraging the adoption of IoT technologies to improve resource management practices in construction. This study investigates the impact of Internet of Things (IoT) implementation on resource management in the construction sector.
