Innovative Digital Media in Islamic Religious Education Learning

This study explores the innovation in Islamic Religious Education (PAI) learning that utilizes digital media and social platforms as effective learning tools. The research employs a literature-based approach, collecting data from various sources such as books, scientific journals, and proceedings. The study focuses on five social media applications used by PAI teachers: TikTok, YouTube, WhatsApp, Facebook, and Instagram. These applications are analyzed for their impact on student engagement and learning outcomes. The findings reveal that while these tools enhance interaction and accessibility, they also pose challenges such as distractions, misinformation, and security concerns. The study emphasizes the need for teachers to integrate digital media with Islamic values and ethical considerations to create a safe and effective learning environment.
