This study investigates the relationship between digital innovations and the sustainability perspectives of logistics operations. The research employs a theoretical framework based on the diffusion of innovation (DOI) theory, focusing on technology adoption and integration. Data were collected from 540 small logistical firms in China using a survey questionnaire. The covariance-based structural equation modeling (SEM) technique was used to test the proposed hypotheses. The results indicate that technology adoption positively affects environmental, social, and economic perspectives of sustainable operations, with coefficients ranging from 0.293 to 0.461. Similarly, technology integration also positively impacts these perspectives, with coefficients ranging from 0.415 to 0.512. The study concludes that the implementation of digital technology for innovation can significantly improve logistical operations in terms of sustainability, leading to robust business improvements. The findings have implications for researchers, employees, and policymakers, emphasizing the importance of strategic technology adoption and integration to achieve sustainable goals. This study investigates the relationship between digital innovations and the sustainability perspectives of logistics operations.
