This study explores the potential of Artificial Intelligence (AI) in enhancing public decision-making processes. The research aims to investigate how AI can support or take over certain decision-making roles in government agencies. It utilizes Herbert Simon's theory of bounded rationality, which highlights the limitations of human decision-making due to cognitive and time constraints. Through a comprehensive literature review, the study finds that AI can optimize data collection, analysis, and interpretation, and facilitate more accurate predictions. Effective AI implementation strategies include developing robust AI models, training qualified human resources, and designing policies that consider ethical and data security aspects. The results indicate that AI has significant potential to improve the efficiency of public decision-making and emphasize the importance of integrating AI in public administration. The study concludes that AI holds great promise in creating more responsive, adaptive, and efficient public decision-making systems in the digital era. Keywords: Artificial Intelligence, Digitalization, Public Decision Making. This study explores the potential of Artificial Intelligence (AI) in enhancing public decision-making processes.
