This review explores the challenges and strategies in mental health management within healthcare organizations. Mental health is a critical component of overall well-being, yet healthcare organizations face numerous challenges in effectively managing it. These include stigma and discrimination, resource constraints, workforce burnout, fragmented services, access barriers, treatment gaps, integration into general healthcare, data privacy concerns, crisis response, and cultural competence. Despite these challenges, healthcare organizations are implementing various strategies to address them, such as preventive measures, diagnostic and therapeutic interventions, and supportive measures. Training and education programs are essential in raising awareness and reducing stigma, while technology, including telehealth and digital platforms, plays a crucial role in improving access and care. Interdisciplinary collaboration is vital for holistic care, and integrating mental health into broader healthcare policies is essential for creating a comprehensive and inclusive healthcare system. The future of mental health management requires ongoing research, policy integration, technological innovation, and a commitment to destigmatization and equitable access. By adopting these strategies, healthcare organizations can foster a mental health ecosystem that prioritizes well-being and promotes holistic patient care. This review explores the challenges and strategies in mental health management within healthcare organizations.
