MetaboAnalyst 2.0 is a comprehensive web-based platform for metabolomic data analysis, offering advanced features for data processing, statistical analysis, and biological interpretation. It was developed to address the evolving needs of metabolomics research, including improved data quality control, functional enrichment analysis, and metabolic pathway analysis. The platform supports multi-group data analysis, two-factor analysis, and time-series data analysis, along with new modules for data filtering, normalization, and visualization. MetaboAnalyst 2.0 also includes a quality control module, a functional enrichment analysis module, and a metabolic pathway analysis module, which allow users to explore biological patterns and pathways in 15 model organisms. The graphical presentation tools have been significantly improved, with images generated using anti-aliasing and available in various resolutions and formats. The server is now hosted on a more powerful system with optimized code to take advantage of multi-core processors. MetaboAnalyst 2.0 also provides a collection of FAQs, tutorials, and downloadable versions for local installation. The platform is designed to handle large datasets efficiently and supports a wide range of data formats, including spectral data and raw metabolomic data. It is user-friendly, with a self-guided menu and interactive displays, and includes detailed tutorials and online resources to assist users. MetaboAnalyst 2.0 is a modular and scalable tool that supports both web-based and local installations, making it accessible to a broad range of researchers. It is part of a growing suite of metabolomics tools, but remains unique for its comprehensive suite of functions for data processing, visualization, and analysis. The platform is continuously updated to meet the needs of the metabolomics community and to incorporate new methodologies and standards in metabolomics research.MetaboAnalyst 2.0 is a comprehensive web-based platform for metabolomic data analysis, offering advanced features for data processing, statistical analysis, and biological interpretation.
