The article discusses the use of ADDIE and ASSURE models in the development of learning media. Both models are widely used due to their effectiveness in implementation. The ADDIE model (Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, Evaluation) and the ASSURE model (Analyze Learners, State Objectives, Select Methods, Media and Materials, Utilize Media and Materials, Require Learner Participation, Evaluate, and Revise) provide comprehensive frameworks for designing, developing, and evaluating effective learning experiences. The research employs a qualitative descriptive approach, using library research to gather information from books and journals.
The ADDIE model focuses on systematic learning processes, while the ASSURE model emphasizes the combination of content, methods, and media. Both models aim to help educators create meaningful learning experiences that meet student needs. The article outlines the steps of each model, including analysis, design, development, implementation, and evaluation, and provides examples of how these models can be applied in practice.
The ADDIE model involves analyzing student needs, designing learning activities, developing materials, implementing the learning plan, and evaluating its effectiveness. The ASSURE model includes analyzing learner characteristics, setting performance objectives, selecting methods and materials, requiring learner participation, and evaluating and revising the learning process.
The article concludes that both models are crucial for developing effective learning media, ensuring that the learning process is systematic, efficient, and effective. The key to successful teaching lies in the educator's passion for their students, which drives them to choose appropriate methods, materials, and media to enhance learning outcomes. The article discusses the use of ADDIE and ASSURE models in the development of learning media.
