The study of social representations has gained prominence among Brazilian researchers, who seek a solid and consistent theoretical framework for qualitative investigations of organizational phenomena. These phenomena often reveal subjective meanings that traditional scientific approaches fail to capture or explain. An example of this emphasis is the recent work by Professor Neusa Rolita Cavedon and her collaborators (Note by Thiago Duarte Pimentel – CEPEAD/UFMG). This collection of 10 texts focuses on qualitative research in administration, essential reading for postgraduate students and those interested in creating and generating knowledge through scientific research. The first part introduces readers to qualitative research through theoretical and epistemological questions, while the second part provides practical examples of qualitative research applications (Note by André S. de Souza – CEPPAD/UFPR). As the 28th volume in the "Structural Analysis in the Social Sciences" series, edited by one of the pioneers in social network analysis, Mark Granovetter, this book offers a valuable update on advancements in social network analysis. With the growing interest in using network analysis in organizational research, it serves as a useful theoretical and methodological resource (Note by Luciano Rossoni – CEPPAD/UFPR). This book explores key themes and debates about the future of human resource management, based on the insights of renowned researchers and consultants in the field. It includes 45 chapters across nine thematic axes, covering controversial topics such as John Boudreau and Peter Ramstad's proposal for a people management approach aligned with sustainability principles (Note by Charbel José Chiappetta Jabbour – EESC/USP).The study of social representations has gained prominence among Brazilian researchers, who seek a solid and consistent theoretical framework for qualitative investigations of organizational phenomena.
