Pathway Commons is a web resource that integrates publicly available biological pathway data from multiple sources, providing a comprehensive collection of pathways in a common language. It offers a web interface for browsing and searching pathways, a download site for integrated pathway information in various formats, and a web service for software developers to query and access data. The platform aims to collect and integrate all public pathway data available in standard formats, currently containing over 1400 pathways and 687,000 interactions from nine databases. Pathway Commons supports data integration using standard formats like BioPAX and PSI-MI, and provides tools for data normalization, merging, and visualization. The platform also includes a community of pathway data providers and a web service for automated querying, with plans for future enhancements such as support for gene regulation, genetic interactions, and protein degradation.Pathway Commons is a web resource that integrates publicly available biological pathway data from multiple sources, providing a comprehensive collection of pathways in a common language.
