The Experimental Psychology Group, a private society of British university and research institution staff, has established the *Quarterly Journal of Experimental Psychology* to address the lack of specialized journals in the field of psychology and its neighboring disciplines. The journal, edited by R. C. Oldfield and published by W. Heffer and Sons, aims to provide a high-quality platform for both experimental and clinical psychological research.
The Department of Geodesy and Geophysics at the University of Cambridge will conduct a gravity survey in the English Channel aboard H.M. Submarine *Talent* during May. The project, supported by the Royal Society and the Royal Navy, aims to gather data on the channel's geological structure to better understand the geology of southern England and the Continent. The expedition will last four weeks and involve civilian scientists and specialized equipment.

Alston of the British Museum (Natural History) reports that the herbarium evacuated from Berlin to Bleicherode has been officially handed over to the Berlin University and deposited in the Russian sector of Berlin. It was previously believed to have been transported to the U.S.S.R., but it remained at Erfurt until the President of the Moscow Academy of Science decided not to take over German cultural property.
The trustees will consider applications for Ramsay Memorial Fellowships for chemical research in June. Each fellowship is worth £400 per year, with an additional grant of up to £100 for research expenses, and is typically tenable for two years. Applications must be submitted by April 17.
