THE ENVIRONMENTAL AWARENESS LEVEL AMONG SAUDI WOMEN AND ITS RELATIONSHIP TO SUSTAINABLE THINKING

This study investigates the level of environmental awareness and sustainable thinking among Saudi women, focusing on their relationship. The research involved 176 female teachers in the Wadi Dawasir governorate, using a descriptive-analytical approach with correlational predictive methods. The findings indicate a high level of environmental awareness and sustainable thinking among the participants. A statistically significant positive correlation was found between environmental awareness and sustainable thinking. The results also show that sustainable thinking can be predicted based on the level of environmental awareness. The study highlights the importance of education in fostering environmental awareness and sustainable thinking, emphasizing the role of teacher training and educational programs in promoting environmental consciousness. The research underscores the need for continued efforts in environmental education and sustainable development, aligning with Saudi Arabia's Vision 2030.
