This study explores curriculum innovation in the Tahfizhul Qur'an learning media at the Musthafawiyah Purbabaru Islamic Boarding School in North Sumatra. The research uses a qualitative approach to analyze how the school's curriculum is designed and implemented. The school employs the Mu'adalah curriculum, an internally developed curriculum tailored to the needs of Islamic boarding schools, incorporating various innovations aligned with community needs and school objectives. One of the key programs within this curriculum is the Tahfizhul Qur'an program, which focuses on memorizing the Quran. To support this program, the school utilizes specialized Qur'ans, Tahfizh tables, blackboards, and Al-Quran murattal (recitations). These media are essential for curriculum innovation, as they facilitate effective and efficient learning, helping students memorize the Quran accurately and efficiently. The study highlights the importance of using the corner Qur'an, which is specifically designed to aid memorization by having each page end with one verse. The school also uses blackboards and murattal recitations to enhance learning. The research concludes that the use of these media is crucial for achieving the curriculum's objectives, ensuring that students are well-prepared for future academic and religious endeavors. The study emphasizes the role of curriculum innovation in Islamic boarding schools, particularly in the context of Tahfizhul Qur'an, and the importance of using appropriate learning media to support this process. This study explores curriculum innovation in the Tahfizhul Qur'an learning media at the Musthafawiyah Purbabaru Islamic Boarding School in North Sumatra.
