The study presents a classification test for the risk of violence by sexual offenders (PVAS), designed to identify the level of violence risk in sexual offenders by identifying characteristics of behavior, personality, cognition, and motivation that generate violent behavior. The PVAS is a checklist of 30 items aimed at categorizing the risk level of sexual offenders. The test is intended to be a support tool in justice administration processes and in penitentiary and prison contexts. The study highlights the importance of understanding the psychological, social, and legal aspects of sexual violence and the need for a tool that can help in the prevention and management of such violence. The research is based on the criminal psychology approach, which helps in solving complex problems by studying the psychological determinants of antisocial and criminal behavior. The study also emphasizes the role of psychology in the administration of justice, particularly in the treatment and prevention of crime. The PVAS is designed to help in the identification and classification of risk, its components, and the decision-making process. The study also discusses the types of violence, the characteristics of sexual offenders, and the psychological, social, and legal factors that contribute to the commission of sexual violence. The research concludes that the PVAS is a valuable tool for the prevention and management of sexual violence in the justice system. The study presents a classification test for the risk of violence by sexual offenders (PVAS), designed to identify the level of violence risk in sexual offenders by identifying characteristics of behavior, personality, cognition, and motivation that generate violent behavior.
