Artistic expression and web 2.0 tools to strengthen communication skills in fourth-grade primary school students Flor Alba Pinto Núñez Keywords: Didactic strategy, Artistic education, Communication skills, ICT. This research presents an educational experience in which ICT and artistic education were integrated as a didactic strategy to strengthen communication skills in fourth-grade primary school students at the Simon Bolivar Technical College in Duitama, Boyacá, applied during the second academic period of 2020 (June and July). Methodologically, it is a mixed study with a descriptive approach and comparative design, aiming to innovate the educational process inherent in the development of communication skills through the art of new media, moving away from traditional education. It was established that the development of the didactic strategy allowed students to have significant improvements in the strengthening and development of their communication skills. The study was conducted in ten chapters, including an introduction, presentation of the research work, theoretical bases, methodological design, ethical considerations, initial diagnosis, intervention proposal structure, analysis and interpretation of results, conclusions, limitations, recommendations, impact, and prospects, as well as a bibliography and appendices. The research aimed to strengthen communication skills in fourth-grade primary school students through artistic expression and web 2.0 tools. The study found that students had difficulties in reading, writing, and listening, and that the integration of ICT and artistic education could help improve these skills. The study used a mixed-method approach, including surveys, observations, and data analysis, to evaluate the effectiveness of the intervention. The results showed significant improvements in students' communication skills, particularly in reading, writing, and listening. The study concluded that the integration of artistic expression and web 2.0 tools is an effective strategy for strengthening communication skills in primary school students. The research also highlighted the importance of using technology and artistic education to enhance the learning experience and improve student performance. The study provided recommendations for future research and practical applications in educational settings.Artistic expression and web 2.0 tools to strengthen communication skills in fourth-grade primary school students Flor Alba Pinto Núñez Keywords: Didactic strategy, Artistic education, Communication skills, ICT.
