This paper explores the challenges and implications of transparent AI disclosures, particularly in the context of the EU AI Act's Article 52. The authors conducted two workshops with researchers, designers, and engineers to derive key questions related to AI disclosures. These workshops used the 5W1H framework to deconstruct Article 52's relevant clauses. The resulting set of 149 questions is clustered into five themes and 18 sub-themes, covering ethical, legal, policy, future considerations, provider responsibility, user experience, and more. The study highlights the complexity of transparent AI disclosures and emphasizes the need for interdisciplinary research to address these challenges. The authors believe that their questions can serve as a practical starting point for future research and policy development, ensuring that AI-generated content is transparent and trustworthy. This paper explores the challenges and implications of transparent AI disclosures, particularly in the context of the EU AI Act's Article 52.
