The article introduces the updated version of psRNATarget, a web server designed for identifying plant small RNA (sRNA) targets. The new release enhances analytical performance by introducing a new scoring schema that improves recall rates for miRNA-mRNA interactions without significantly increasing the total prediction output. The scoring schema is customizable, allowing users to search for both canonical and non-canonical targets. Additionally, the server now supports the transmission and analysis of large datasets through multi-threading chunked file uploading and increased computing resources, making it more capable of handling 'big data' from next-generation sequencing (NGS) platforms.
